Our Next Event!
The Annual PSFHS Harp Picnic is coming up on July 20, 2025 and is open to all harpers.
Come join us for our epic Harp Circle (we’ll play group tunes, and solos for those who want).
Here’s the information you’ll need:
DATE: Sunday, July 20, 2025
TIME: 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
PLACE: Cromwell Park, 18030 Meridian Ave N, Shoreline WA
BRING: Your harp and bench, your LUNCH and the PSFHS HARPER’s SONGBOOK (some loaners will be available).
You may also bring harp-related items to swap, give away, or sell at our Swap Table.
We’ll provide drinking water and our traditional chocolate cake for dessert.
RAIN OR SHINE: Prepare for cool/hot weather and/or rain as appropriate. The gazebo is covered, the floor is concrete.
PARKING: You may park in the adjacent Shoreline Courthouse parking lot. Our reserved gazebo is on the lawn to the right (south) of the parking area. You can walk there via the sidewalk (best for harp carts), or by taking a short-cut over the grass. If you are able, please help anyone needing a hand getting harps moved.
FACILITIES: There is a clean bathroom near our gazebo, only a short walk away.
DIRECTIONS: From I-5 take Exit 176 onto N 175th Street and go west to the stoplight at Meridian Ave N. Turn right and proceed 5 blocks north to the park on your right. Look for the gazebo (a white structure with a bright blue roof).
ALERT: WSDOT in its wisdom has chosen this weekend to close northbound I-5 from I-90 to 45th NE in the U district! If you are coming from south of Seattle and can use the Express Lanes, they will be open northbound. If you can connect to I-5 north of 45th NE, you will be fine. But if you are in Seattle south of the Ship Canal Bridge you will need to take an alternate bridge across Lake Union/Montlake Cut, such as Aurora/99 (which you can take all the way to 175th then take a right and proceed to Meridian and left to the park), or Eastlake or 23rd into the U District then connect to I-5 beyond the closure. For more details see Revive I-5 – Ship Canal Bridge preservation | WSDOT.
